If this is not a sign of a true social media whore, then I don’t know what is….
This is also the reason I am still single.

Doing a summer share in Montauk this year. I’ve been eating chips, chips and chips all weekend long, however on the train just now I learned a new recipe that I will be trying out ASAP.

Yogurt and lucky charms.

YOGURT AND LUCKY CHARMS!

Yogurt + Cereal. Mix. Eat.

It look magically delicious.

This morning I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror.

Caroline? Are you in there? Cause all I see is a fucking hipster.

This is my: how did this happen/WTF is that smell/can you spare a quarter face. All of which accurately summed up my feelings at that very moment in time.

Then I left the house with my French press made coffee in my ceramic to-go coffee mug in one hand and my iPhone with an unhealthy amount of Bon Iver, Matt & Kim and Brand New in the other. (Currently listening with just ear buds…but I’m thinking of going bigger.)

XOXO,
HG (Hipster Girl)

I believe that within me lies an extraordinary radiance, and I commit to letting my light loose in the world.

Jan Phillips via Holly Pavlika

I awoke this morning an email from my EVP and President of Momentum. It was titled, “The Real Woman Creed”. This was the first line and you can read all of it here

As I lay here in bed, hung over and asking myself if that last drink at WXOU Radio Bar was REALLY necessary…I am beginning to think that this extraordinary radiance inside of me should be repurposed for something more meaningful. And what is that more “meaningful” thing?

Lot’s of food for thought on a Sunday Morning.

Now will someone please bring me a coconut water? I’m dying.

XOXO,

SG

Of Course

…I run into someone from work on the Subway today after buying a jumbo pack of tampons and 2 rolls of toilet paper at Duane Reade.

And of course he lives in my neighborhood.

And of course we commuted together.

Me. Only me.

SG

A true friend can talk to you though a banana
An example of when you know you have very wonderful friends is this:
They drop their drinks at a bar in a heartbeat for you when you get sad. They say goodbye to the music, friends and boyfriends for an impromptu slumber party where they tend to your tears, buy you a chicken parm, olives, mac and cheese at 2am and lend you a snuggling pup to keep you company when you sleep. Then lay around the next day, watch stupid TV, gossip and eat some more until the sun starts to set.
I am lucky for friends like this and this!

Red Hook Lobster rolls on this gorgeous day!

This is my friend Scott about to devour all in sight. We went on a trip to Ikea first with his GF and a friend. It was then my idea to grab some rolls. And rolls we grabbed.

Just the type of distraction I need right now…

The answer: It was my dinner :( Frozen Amys Kitchen entree. Roasted Vegetable Tamale.

I ate it, reluctantly, and it was pretty much horrible. (I mainly did bc it’s all natural and kinda healthy) I do NOT recommend!
