Yep, It’s Almost Valentine’s Day

And I know, not because of the massive amounts of perforated Valentine’s Day cards from 1995 filling up my Tumblr feed with cute phrases from Clarissa Explains It All, or the pink and red Sponge Bob candy littering the isles to the cash register at CVS. 

I know because my How About We activity this month is at an all time high. I have illustrated below one day’s worth of HAW Speed Date requests (is this new??) and one scary “Intrigue”. 

Don’t get me wrong, HAW has some really great blog posts, etc…but sometimes I just die a little inside when I open up these emails. Like “Adrianlikescookies”? Really? I would have much rather liked “AdrianLOVESCookies” OR “AdrianLikesCookiesWITHMILK”!

And no cats. Please. Just…no cats. 

Even though HAW centers it thinking around “Chemistry happens OFFline” (hence, “How About We…list activity to do offline”) It still feels unatural. And, as you can see from the above, I mainly just use it to criticize people. 

Which actually, is really kinda mean <insert rude awakening here>. I think this might be my last HAW post, but for now enjoy…and chew on the thought, does finding people online to date make sense or is it pushing the digital limits just a little too far?
