So I promise this is not turning into a fashion blog because let’s face it…I care more about eating, drinking and complaining about being single than I do designer labels, who wore what and freakishly skinny models ;)

BUT, since I did go to one show I feel the need to report on it. 

Above are a few of my favorite Monique Lhuillier pieces from last night. I love black and gold — safe, classy and easy to rock when your dressed down or up. I loved the wide belts, cut out backs and occasional sparkle ;) It was safe yet elegant (I hear she was inspired by the Chinese New Year, hence the red and black)
